Access to Quality Eye Care

Ensuring you and your family have access to quality eye care is important to us. When you visit us, it’s helpful to know whether you and your family are covered under OHIP and which insurance providers we accept direct billing from.

OHIP Coverage

OHIP provides coverage for one comprehensive eye exam a year for:

People aged 19 years and younger
People aged 65 years and older

OHIP also covers an annual comprehensive eye exam for people with the following eye diseases and conditions:

OHIP also covers a comprehensive eye exam that has been requested by referral from another doctor.
